Continually posting original content on your social media can be really hard to keep up with. So what some people do instead is start to curate content from other sources and share those on their social media platforms. This way they do not have to spend the time creating all original content.
Simply sharing other peoples content though does not always lead to your ultimate goal, getting people to contact you. There is a tool though to help you share links from other people while generating leads for yourself.
It’s called Snip.ly
Snip.ly allows you to share links by first taking the link and putting it through their tool. It works similar to bit.ly if you’re familiar with that. Once you’ve put the URL through snip.ly it creates a new URL for you to share.
When you share the URL it now creates a custom Call to Action that floats at the bottom of the page. This way you can drive traffic to specific pages and generate leads for yourself while sharing content that someone else has put the time into creating.
Another great way to use snip.ly is when you are sharing links to listings. When you are sending out a link to a new listing on your site, don’t forget that most people who are interested in buying a home also have a home to sell. Well now you can create a call to action for free home evaluations that stands out when sharing listings.
Another great feature of snip.ly is the stats behind it. You can see how many people clicked on your link, how many clicked on your call to action, what your average visit time was and what your bounce rate is. By tracking all this information you are able to improve what you share so that you can continually improve and generate more leads.
So from now on, when sharing others articles, consider first putting the article through snip.ly so you can promote yourself a little better and generate more leads.
